Parish Support
Every day, every year the parish continues to grow in providing varied services and ministries to both those in the parish family and to our brothers and sisters who are in need outside our parish community.
The members of our parish family have expressed a desire for these ministries and services and have supported them generously through prayer, in service, and in financial sharing.
Each year the Finance Council studies our needs based upon our goals of continued parish growth and outreach. The Parish Council reviews and supports this budget and offers recommended guidelines for support among the members of the parish family.
This parish support includes monies specified for weekly parish support and monthly support for Total Catholic Education and Parish Maintenance. Past financial support in providing for the upkeep of our Worship Space, education center, the salaries of personnel and materials needed for ministry has been outstanding and is greatly appreciated.
One of the best ways to personally plan / budget for your support is to:
- Prayerfully reflect on your offering to the parish
- Consider using the Automatic Fund Transfer method of making your contribution.
What is Automatic Fund Transfer?
Many parishioners are already taking advantage of Automatic Fund Transfers from their savings or checking accounts to take care of their commitments to various businesses and service industries. Assumption B.V.M. School has been offering this technique for the collection of tuition for several years. This convenient and efficient method of transferring funds is made available to you for ease in handling some of your financial contributions to the parish. This system is very easy to initiate and can be very helpful in planning and budgeting your support. All that is needed to begin this program is to fill out a simple, one page form. This form is available at the Parish Office. If you have any questions or need assistance with the form, Lisa Shelton, the Office Manager, would be glad to offer her assistance.
$crip
$crip is a method by which the parish is able to earn dollars from area business which support and offer $crip to our parishioners. $crip is similar to a gift card. When you purchase $crip, you get the exact dollar amount of value that you spend. The business offers a rebate to the parish as an incentive. It costs you nothing, and brings "free money" to the parish. You can pick up an order form at the Parish Office, the parish school, or in the back of church at weekend Masses, or you can download a $crip order form from this website.
